From a Mexican Province, please contact the Company by telephone, e-mail or fax and the closest adjuster will be dispatched to your location. You will only be able to reach the Claim Hotline if your call is made in Mexico and if the Land Line or Cellular telephone you are calling from is Mexican.

• When you report the accident or theft to the Company, please give them the exact place where you are, the description of the automobile, etc.
• Please do not leave the automobile, unless it is strictly necessary.
• Please do not assume any responsibility or make any deal with the third parties.
• When the adjuster arrives, please show him your insurance policy, your driver's license, etc.
• Please get and keep the adjusters name, phone number and business card.
• Please complete the accident declaration that forms part of the adjusters report. Please keep a copy of this report for your records.
• Please help the adjuster with all required information he needs so that a fair transaction can be made.
• In case of theft please file a police report. Please ask for and keep a copy of this report.
• In case needed the adjuster will provide you with the following services:

• The adjuster will send you a tow truck for your automobile or the third party's.
• The adjuster will assign you an auto repair garage.
• The adjuster will assign you a medical pass to the hospital.
• the adjuster will collect for you a lawyer for legal assistance.

To make a Safe Trip claim for towing and road service charges you pay, the invoice must include the following information:

1. Mexican added value tax broken down: IVA

2. Invoice issued out to:

Policies For You

A Tourist policy is Multiple Point Entry Mexican Auto Insurance Coverage for any Tourist possessing a valid driver's license. A Mexican National who is a permanent resident outside of Mexico with a Green Card is also considered a Tourist. Coverage is applicable only in the Republic of Mexico. For Mexican Nationalized or Permanently imported vehicles, please complete the online application for Mexican Registered Vehicle Insurance.

Customize Your Coverage

Excess Liability ~ Increases the insured Liability amount to $500,000 Combined Single Limit.

"Safe Trip" Towing ~ Adds Reimbursement, up to $240, for Emergency Road Service, Towing and Shipment of Parts.

Uninsured Motorist Plus ~ Increases the insured limit of Medical Payments to $20,000 per person; $100,000 per accident in the event that an uninsured or underinsured motorist causes you and/or your passengers bodily injury. If an uninsured motorist damages the insured vehicle, the collision deductible charged will be $0. The insured limit of Medical Payments is changed for the term of the policy to $20,000 per person; $100,000 per accident.

VIP Endorsement ~ Adds Vandalism, Increased Cost for a USA Repair, and Partial Theft coverage.

Watercraft Liability ~ Adds Liability of $300,000 CSL for watercraft not exceeding 28' while afloat or being launched.

Business Use ~ Allows the insured vehicle to be used for business.

2 Coverage Areas

Every Lewis and Lewis auto insurance policy provides you coverage throughout either the entire Republic of Mexico, which we call Plan B: Full Territory, or certain Mexican States, which we call Plan A: Limited Territory for coverage in Baja California Norte; Baja California Sur; Sonora; Chihuahua; Sinaloa; Durango; Coahuila; Nuevo Leon; and Tamaulipas.
